Underpass
a wave on gut strings changes phase at each slam into polished stone as skaters echo in the bahnhof air caught in their bodies as a gulp on windpipe slap of board vibrating in the ear I lose bearings underground come out two streets later how far out of place a question of the balance between echoes under stone white-knuckle saunters through the streets and out of the rubble angels free from gravity gilt catching the light the wall down the movement of internal displacement fractures the wall a sentence crumbling into air
